Scotland. This inscription is on the wall of a house in the High Street opposite to the Palace. It reads, " All praise to God, thanks to the most excellent monarch of Great Britaine, of whose princelie liberalities this is my portione. Deo Laus. Esto fidus. Adest Merces. Nichol Moncrieff, 1610."
